WeBuild-AI is Officially a “Great Place To Work”

We're thrilled to announce that WeBuild-AI has been certified as a Great Place to Work for 2026/27.

As WeBuild-AI’s Talent Partner and the second ever hire at the company, I've had a front-row seat to our journey. Twelve months ago, we were a team of four and today we're 25 and counting. I'm incredibly proud of achieving this certification while scaling at that pace.

This recognition means a lot to us - Great Place to Work certification isn't something you can buy or blag. It's based entirely on what our team actually thinks about working here, measured through an anonymous employee survey. 

And the results? We're proud to say we scored at UK Best Workplaces level.

Scaling Without Losing What Matters

Growing from 4 to 25 people in a year is exciting, but it's also a risk. Rapid growth can dilute culture, create silos and erode the things that made a company special in the first place. That hasn't happened here. If anything, these results show we've managed to scale while protecting what makes WeBuild-AI a great place to work, and that's no accident. 

From day one, culture has been baked into how we operate, not something to figure out later. Engineering hour gives developers dedicated time to explore new technologies and learn from each other. Book club brings people together across teams to discuss ideas beyond the day-to-day. Pub club and games nights give space to connect as humans, not just colleagues. We invest in growth with dedicated L&D budgets, and we make sure the office is somewhere people actually want to be (and yes, that includes keeping it full of snacks). Team socials aren't forced fun. They're genuine opportunities to celebrate wins and build the kind of relationships that make collaboration easier and work more enjoyable.

What We’re Working On Next

We'd be lying if we said we've got everything figured out. Alongside the strong scores, our survey highlighted areas where we need to do better, and we've heard that feedback. Being a great place to work isn't a destination, it's an ongoing commitment to listen, reflect, and improve.

We're not sharing this certification to say we've nailed it, we're sharing it because we're proud of where we are, and we're honest about the fact there's always more to do.
